Freak Show
It's the Freak Show, the Freak Show - The Freak Show is a boardwalk full of many grotesque creations, located next to Rickety Town and opposite the Haunted House. At the back of the Freak Show is the Chamber of Horrors, guarded by Eyeclops, and the compound that holds Junior. The font used in the Freak Show logo (right) and the Museum of the Slightly Curious is Rosewood (1994).
The Freak Show is the only level to contain the Flamethrower Powerup. |

Boardwalk
Enemies: Flap-Jack, Maggot Mike, Flem the Fly, Nik-Nak
Powerups: Health, Flamethrower Music: Freak Show The first enemies at the Freak Show entrance are some Flem the Flys. Turning away from this towards the Flap-Jack stall there's a flamethrower powerup. At the stall itself Betty shows up and there's a health powerup. A Nik-Nak will pop out of a trap door on the main boardwalk. |
Museum of the Slightly Curious
Enemies: Maggot Mike, Flap-Jack, Nik-Nak, Flem the Fly
Powerups: Machine Gun, Health Music: Freak Show Before getting to the Museum, there's the Fly Trap. Next to the fly paper is a machine gun powerup. Then the floor will fall through and some Maggot Mikes will jump at you. Inside the museum there are many Flap-Jacks, some Flem the Flys and Nik-Naks. There is a heart powerup above Trog the caveman's hand. |
Monkey House
Enemies: Nik-Nak
Powerups: Machine Gun Music: Freak Show A Flap-Jack will launch you from a see-saw into the Monkey House. While you're up in the air there's a Machine Gun powerup. Betty appears here directly behind the first Nik-Nak on the right side of the screen, so you have to be certain to only shoot enough to kill him to not hit her. |
Eyeclops (Mid-Boss)
"I am Eyeclops!" Music: Freak Show
Eyeclops emerges from inside the Chamber of Horrors from a lowered drawbridge. He's a many-eyed, two-headed and very Cockney monster, and will shout out weird phrases as he fights. His armor clangs when he walks. He attacks with his sword, by kicking and ramming into you with his shoulder. His sword combo does more damage, but can be more easily interrupted by shooting at his eyes. After shooting at one of his eyes several times, or managing to hit it directly, only the socket will be left, depleting a chunk of Eyeclops's health. You should focus on another eye after this and repeat. Eyeclops is the only enemy who can still receive model damage when the violence is set to Red Blood or Green Blood, and all his eyes can still be shot out and will bleed. This likely due to his eyes being an integral weakspot and the developers didn't want to make players confused about whether they were actually damaging him. He still has no model damage with the violence set to 'none'. Take him out, then it's off into the Chamber of Horrors itself. |

Chamber of Horrors
Junior/Deaddy (Boss)
Enemies: Nik-Nak, Flem the Fly
Powerups: Machine Gun, Health Music: Junior After leaving the Chamber of Horrors there is a Machine Gun powerup off a cliff edge. On the path leading to Junior's compound there will be several Nik-Naks, and at the bridge some Flem the Flys appear. In his giant playpen close to the Chamber of Horrors, Junior/Deaddy in his crib is brought to life with electricity. Junior can be replaced with Deaddy from the Diagnostics Menu. At the start of the battle he will attack with his kick and rattle smash attacks. He will then knock over some alphabet building blocks and use the same attacks. Once he chases the player into a giant doll's house, there is a health powerup in the corner, and he will puke on them. Then the toy train hits him and forces him to retreat. The player will get on the train and be chased until the train derails. From this point onward he will attack by throwing giant safety pins, spiky sticks and rattles, kicking and hitting the player with his rattle. Junior/Deaddy is eventually killed by being electrocuted and falling apart. |
