ROCKETS! (Unused Power-up)

Unused player damage

A weapon to surpass Acid Bath!
We don't know what this might have done but it looks awesome. To the left is its HUD icon, a silver rocket with red accents. Also what we think is its cross-hair, which is strange as none of the others weapons in the game have a cross-hair. Text for when the power-up was acquired.

The first image shows some kind of unused damage received from a slash attack.
The second shows two fangs biting with blood dripping down, but no enemy appears to use it when they use a biting attack. |

Umlaut icon animation
A collection of tiny pictures of Umlaut, making this animation. We think this may have been a HUD animation. Maybe Umlaut taunted you throughout the levels rather than just the beginning? The files are named and numbered like n0dd 0001.wms and
laff0001.wms. Bonus, we also found these other two images of Umlaut, one with a green and yellow hat rather than purple and yellow. They are called jestg32a.wms and jestp32a.wms. You know, green and purple also represent Player 1 and Player 2, wonder if there's any connection. |
Evil Marie's dress
Two unused textures for Evil Marie. One shows the top half of her dress, before her breasts became modeled separately and got a texture of their own.
The other shows body damage to her dress, which does not happen in the game as she loses her dress once her health is depleted enough, and her slip does not get damaged. |
Carnie face
This strange red face is coded with the group of files associated with Carnie the Dinosaur, and is with the textures for when he is damaged.
Maybe at once point Carnie was not a baby dinosaur, but just a zombie in a dinosaur costume. |
It is similar to the face used for the severed head on the Tinsel's presents.
|
Eyeclops damage
|
Fly swat
|
This texture of Eyeclops's face with damage is not used in the game, as only his eyes can become damaged. This may have been if his eyes were not yet separate models, as with Evil Marie.
|
The prodigal fly swat returns! It's not just for the poster, it's in the game! Look at that gross snot, no wonder he's called Flem.
The textures are flieswat and fliehnd.wms, and have an associated model. |
Junior
Same as Eyeclops, one of Junior's eye models is also separate, but in this texture his eye is drawn on. This could be from before he was given a modeled eye, or just to use as a reference.
Tiny clown face
|
These two files are also associated with Junior, but we are not sure what they could have been used for. They are named babymask.wms and plate.wms respectively. Maybe Junior was going to throw a plate as part of his attacks, instead of just safety pins, rattles and things.
